Die struck lapel pins are great for the sophisticated image of an all-metal pin.  They give the appearance of your image or design being "carved" into the metal surface of the lapel pin and can be created in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.  The fine detailing and high-quality finishing creates the illusion of a sculptured piece of jewelry. 

Manufacturing die struck lapel pins is very simple. A die is cut to the image of your lapel pin design.  Next, your image is stamped on a sheet of iron or copper. Then cutting molds for die struck lapel pins are made separately, and the lapel pins are cut to the outline of the design shape.

Plating of the die struck lapel pins is done next. For this type of lapel pin the most common type of plating is gold on gold, but other metal plating, such as silver, bronze, copper and black nickel are available.
